Discarding is when a card moves from a player's hand to their discard pile. Sometimes a player will discard cards willingly by dragging the card from their hand to their discard pile. Other times, a card played by either them or their opponent will force them to discard a card (sometimes they get to choose which card is discarded, other times their opponent chooses, and sometimes a card is picked randomly). A Reaction card will automatically be discarded after being triggered and executing its effect.
